After our short car show trip to visit friends and family, it was time to take apart the Regal for some Overhaulin in a 2 car garage .
I purchased a 1999 Firebird LS1 engine and 4L60E transmission for the swap, so I thought it was time to get started. I pulled the Regal into my 2 car garage and started pulling parts. I have big ideas for this car, so follow along as I build my Regal, share my experiences, and put a LS engine in a G-body.
The V6 lost its manifold gasket. Time to take off some parts and lose the boat anchor of an engine.
A nose job… needs a good cleaning too.
Not a stuck, rusty bolt on the car. The engine and trans. came out with zero issues. Looking at the G-body frame, the decision was made to pull the frame to clean things up.
